Center for Global Business at the McCombs School of Business

As part of his philanthropic commitments, our Senior Partner & CEO currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Advisors at the Center for Global Business at the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin. In this capacity, he supports the center’s mission to internationalize business education by advising on curriculum development, global engagement strategies, and 

corporate outreach. 


Drawing on over 25 years of international banking and leadership experience, he actively mentors students in the International Business Program, helping them navigate academic and career pathways in global markets. He also participates as a guest lecturer at both undergraduate and graduate levels, delivering insights on cross-border regulatory strategy, global value chains, and emerging market finance. 


His involvement exemplifies CARDINTON’s commitment to shaping the next generation of global business leaders while contributing meaningfully to the academic community.

Credicomer

As Chairman of the Board of Sociedad de Ahorro y Crédito Credicomer, S.A., our Senior Partner & CEO provides strategic governance and oversight for one of El Salvador’s regulated financial institutions specializing in savings, credit and financial solutions for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as consumer banking products. Credicomer was the first licensed SAC (Savings and Credit Society) under the Superintendence of the Financial System and is focused on expanding financial inclusion through agile, value-oriented services.


In this capacity, Robert leads the Board in shaping long-term strategy, strengthening corporate governance and risk frameworks, and aligning Credicomer’s growth objectives with evolving market opportunities and regulatory expectations. This role leverages his broader experience in financial services and complements his leadership at CARDINTON and affiliated ventures by advancing sustainable financial access and institutional resilience across underserved client segments.

Singular Wealth Management

As a Board Member of Singular Wealth Management, our Senior Partner & CEO contributes to the governance and strategic direction of a leading independent Casa de Valores based in Panama, regulated by the Superintendence of the Securities Market of Panama and focused on bespoke wealth management, investment advisory, capital markets solutions and fiduciary services for high-net-worth individuals, institutions and intermediaries.


Singular leverages a highly experienced financial team to design personalized investment portfolios, manage and protect client assets with rigorous standards of quality, security and performance, and expand access to global markets through diversified financial instruments and strategic partnerships.


In this capacity, Robert supports oversight of institutional governance, risk management and growth strategy, aligning Singular’s long-term value proposition with evolving regional market opportunities. This role complements his broader work across financial services and capital markets, reinforcing disciplined governance, investment framework development and sustainable wealth creation.
